PHLEBOTOMIST – MICHIGAN
Position: Phlebotomist
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for collecting blood specimens accurately and safely while ensuring patient comfort. Duties include specimen identification and labeling, specimen processing, patient registration, and assisting with laboratory supplies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of phlebotomy experience — Required.
- Phlebotomy Certification — Required.
- Experience working with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations — Required.
- Willingness to complete Michigan LTC fingerprinting during compliance.
- Permanent address required.
- Candidates must live outside the 50-mile radius restriction.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Work history.
- Phlebotomy skills checklist completed within the past year.
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the past two years.
FACILITY INFORMATION:
- 139-bed hospital.
- EMR: Epic.
