MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) – FLOAT / CLINIC
We are seeking an experienced and certified Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy physician office and provide quality patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily office operations.
- Obtain vital signs and gather pertinent patient medical history.
- Prepare and educate patients for office procedures.
- Assist with specimen collection and preparation.
- Collect required informed consent forms and prepare surgical packets.
- Administer injections under the direct supervision of the physician.
- Communicate test results and recommended plans of care as directed by the physician.
- Provide professional, compassionate care to patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Active Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
- Previous travel experience highly preferred.
- Travelers must have reliable transportation for the duration of the assignment.
- Candidates must secure and review housing options before submission.
- Permanent address is required for submission.
- Local candidates within a 100-mile radius will not be considered.

- Updated work history/resume.
- Medical Assistant Skills Checklist completed within the last year.
- Two supervisory references completed within the last two years.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Active Medical Assistant Certification.
