Urgent Inpatient Pharmacist Opportunity – Michigan
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a dynamic hospital setting in Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is confident handling both inpatient pharmacy operations and specialized compounding responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and interpret medication orders for accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor patient therapies, allergies, drug interactions, and lab results.
- Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and clinical interventions.
- Prepare and oversee sterile compounding, including IVs, TPN, and oncology medications.
- Support interdisciplinary care teams during rounds and emergency situations.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and discharge counseling.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and inventory processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacist experience required.
- Experience working in an Anticoagulation Clinic required.
- Oncology IV compounding experience required.
- Active Michigan pharmacist license required at time of submission.
