Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long-Term Care/Rehab
Provide skilled rehabilitation services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, utilizing evidence-based treatment techniques to improve patients’ mobility, function, and quality of life. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, modalities, and assistive devices; monitoring patient progress; documenting treatments; communicating with the care team; educating patients and caregivers; assisting with discharge planning; and participating in care conferences and facility trainings. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all regulatory, ethical, and professional practice standards.
Requirements:
- Active PTA license (Texas)
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
- Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
