Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Join a behavioral health team providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include participating in treatment planning, attending interdisciplinary care meetings, providing medication education to patients and families, monitoring and documenting patients' emotional and mental status, leading educational groups, and supporting staff training on patient care, charting, vital signs, and de-escalation techniques. The RN will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, maintain required certifications, and serve as a positive role model for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Active Oklahoma RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- NIH certification.
- De-escalation training preferred.
- Recent travel nursing experience preferred.
