Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Unit
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a fast-paced 28-bed Med Surg unit caring for a diverse patient population including general surgery, vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke patients.
This unit emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-based, and holistic care within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment focused on positive patient outcomes and professional nursing growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Provide patient-centered care utilizing evidence-based nursing practice.
- Demonstrate leadership, clinical expertise, and effective communication.
- Utilize strong time management and teamwork skills to support unit performance.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of recent straight Medical Surgical RN experience required.
- Float pool, SDU, and Telemetry-only experience will not qualify.
- Level I or Level II Trauma experience required.
- Travel nursing experience preferred.
- Active Michigan RN License required at time of submission.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.

- Michigan license verification required.
