Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN to join a high-acuity Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit caring for patients recovering from advanced cardiac procedures and surgeries. This role involves managing complex cardiac patients, including those recovering from interventional cardiology procedures, heart valve repairs, pacemaker placements, open-heart surgery, congestive heart failure, and electrophysiology treatments.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable monitoring cardiac rhythms, interpreting EKGs, utilizing strong clinical judgment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to similar units as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Stepdown nursing experience.
- Strong cardiac care experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- EKG monitoring and interpretation proficiency.
- Willingness to float to comparable units.
- Active Michigan RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
