REGISTERED NURSE – LABOR & DELIVERY (NIGHTS)
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers, newborns, and families.
SHIFT:
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments.
- Assess and manage pain using appropriate interventions and patient/family education.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care throughout the patient experience.
- Administer medications safely while following the five rights of medication administration.
- Provide patient and family education based on identified learning needs.
- Deliver care within the RN scope of practice and maintain a safe patient environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Communicate changes in patient condition and coordinate care appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Safely operate patient care equipment.
- Identify and address psychosocial and family needs.
- Maintain required annual competencies, including bedside blood glucose testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Postpartum and newborn nursery experience required.
- Active Ohio or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Current AHA ACLS certification required.
- Current NRP certification required.
- BSN preferred.
- Certifications must be active through the start date.
- COVID vaccination documentation required if vaccinated.

- Active certifications.
