TRAVEL REGISTERED NURSE – OPERATING ROOM
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- 32-hour weekly guarantee
- Cataract experience is REQUIRED – non-negotiable
- EMR: Cerner
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Patient population: Adult and geriatric
- Surgical Services includes 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
- Primarily outpatient procedures with limited inpatient cases
- Patient population includes ages 16+
SURGICAL SERVICES:
The Clinical Nurse functions in both scrubbing and circulating capacities and provides specialized care across multiple surgical service lines, including:
- General Surgery
- Urology
- Ophthalmology
- Podiatry
- Pain
- Endoscopy
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–5 years of experience
- Cataract experience – REQUIRED
- Scrubbing and circulating experience – REQUIRED
- Current skill checklists for both scrubbing and circulating must be included.
- Experience in a smaller OR facility – REQUIRED
- Phase I/PACU experience – REQUIRED
- Multiple surgical specialty experience – REQUIRED
- Cerner experience – REQUIRED
- Travel experience – highly preferred
- BSN – preferred
- Active Vermont license or compact license.
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- Candidate must be willing to obtain a Vermont license prior to start if needed.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable personal vehicle is REQUIRED.
- Permament address must be included in the profile.
- All requested time off must be disclosed at submission.
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
- Scheduling requests submitted after upload or offer may not be approved.
- Travelers may be required to work during holiday periods.
