CATH LAB / ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY (EP) TECHNICIAN

SHIFT DETAILS:

• Shift: Days.
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
• Shift Length: 10 hours.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Weekend Requirements: Yes, for on-call coverage.
• On-Call Requirements: Yes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technician experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
• RCIS certification required and must be documented.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and electrophysiology studies.
• Support physicians and the clinical team during cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Monitor patients and assist with maintaining patient safety throughout procedures.
• Follow established clinical protocols and infection control standards.
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage, including weekends as required.
