MEDICAL ASSISTANT – PHYSICIAN OFFICE

HOUSING NOTE:
  • Housing can be challenging in the area.
  • Travelers should have housing options secured or identified prior to submission.

SKILLS NEEDED:
  • Vital sign measurement.
  • Injections and immunizations.
  • Rooming patients.
  • Reviewing medical histories.
  • Preparing patients for examinations and minor procedures.
  • Performing EKGs.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adjust to changing schedules.
  • Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
  • Meditech experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience. – REQUIRED.
  • Previous travel experience. – HIGHLY PREFERRED.
  • AAMA or equivalent certification. – REQUIRED, must be in hand and uploaded.
  • Active AHA BLS. – REQUIRED.
  • Current license/certifications at time of submission.

    1 signed supervisory reference from the past year of employment. –
    REQUIRED.
  • AHA BLS documentation. – REQUIRED.

  • Requested Time Off (RTO) must be included with submission.
