MEDICAL ASSISTANT – PHYSICIAN OFFICE

HOUSING NOTE:

Housing can be challenging in the area.

Travelers should have housing options secured or identified prior to submission.

SKILLS NEEDED:

Vital sign measurement.
Injections and immunizations.
Rooming patients.
Reviewing medical histories.
Preparing patients for examinations and minor procedures.
Performing EKGs.
Medical terminology knowledge.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adjust to changing schedules.
Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
Meditech experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience. – REQUIRED.
Previous travel experience. – HIGHLY PREFERRED.
AAMA or equivalent certification. – REQUIRED, must be in hand and uploaded.
Active AHA BLS. – REQUIRED.
Current license/certifications at time of submission.
