CMA – Family Medicine | Days:

• 2+ years of CMA/practice experience – Required.
• Pediatric (Peds) experience – Required and non-negotiable; specific Peds experience must be clearly listed on the profile.
• National CMA certification/registration – Required.
  • AAMA preferred and receives first consideration.
  • State-only certification is not accepted.
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience – Required.
• AHA BLS – Required.
• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Athena experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the assignment.

• Provide direct patient care under provider supervision.
• Perform vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic testing.
• Room patients and manage patient flow.
• Prepare patients for office procedures while maintaining infection-control standards.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Respond to patient calls and coordinate with other staff as needed.
• Support quality improvement activities and maintain a safe clinical environment.
• May float between multiple outpatient practices based on operational needs.
