CMA – Family Medicine | Days:

Key Requirements:

2+ years of CMA/practice experience – Required.
Pediatric (Peds) experience – Required and non-negotiable; specific Peds experience must be clearly listed on the profile.
National CMA certification/registration – Required.
- AAMA preferred and receives first consideration.
- State-only certification is not accepted.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience – Required.
AHA BLS – Required.
EPIC experience highly preferred.
Athena experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
Must live more than 50 miles from the assignment.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under provider supervision.
Perform vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic testing.
Room patients and manage patient flow.
Prepare patients for office procedures while maintaining infection-control standards.
Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
Respond to patient calls and coordinate with other staff as needed.
Support quality improvement activities and maintain a safe clinical environment.
May float between multiple outpatient practices based on operational needs.
