EEG Technologist
Seeking an experienced EEG Technologist for a full-time, Monday–Friday position (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) within a neurology department.
Requirements:
- ABRET Certification required OR 10+ years of EEG experience in lieu of certification
- Minimum 2 years of EEG experience
- Graduate of an accredited EEG program
- CPR certification
- EPIC experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, long-term monitoring studies, and Smartskan procedures
- Prepare and educate patients prior to testing
- Accurately apply electrodes using the 10-20 measurement system
- Review patient history and ensure test appropriateness
- Provide neurologists with complete and accurate study information
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and stock EEG equipment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Work independently while effectively prioritizing daily workload
