Medical Technologist / MLT – Temporary Position

Responsibilities:

Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens.
Set up testing procedures and manage laboratory workload.
Evaluate patient and quality-control results and enter results into the laboratory information system.
Follow critical result notification procedures.
Prepare and maintain reagents and laboratory supplies.
Maintain inventory and safely dispose of biohazardous and chemical materials.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
May provide backup support to the phlebotomy team, including venipuncture and culture collection.

Requirements:

2+ years of MLT experience.
Experience with Sunquest and Epic.
Experience with Ortho Blood Bank and Chemistry.
Experience with Siemens coagulation and urinalysis.
Experience with Sysmex hematology.
Active ASCP certification.
