INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY | PENNSYLVANIA
We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist for a high-impact locum assignment starting July 1. This role offers a streamlined workflow within a well-equipped hospital setting, supported by dedicated advanced practice providers to ensure efficient patient management.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- START DATE: July 1, 2026
- SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) plus weeknight beeper call.
- WEEKEND/HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS: 24-hour call coverage including the July 4th holiday.
- SCOPE OF PRACTICE: Inpatient hospital rounding and procedures. Weekend coverage includes Interventional and General Cardiology rounding.
- SUPPORT STAFF: Nurse Practitioner assistance is provided for weekend and holiday rounding.
- EMR: EPIC
CLINICAL DETAILS:
- PATIENT POPULATION: Adult
- PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS: STEMI coverage is required.
- PROCEDURAL NOTES: No TEEs required.
- CALL VOLUME: Average of 3 hours of callbacks per day on Saturday and Sunday.
FACILITY AND LOCATION:
- PRACTICE SETTING: Hospital-based.
- LOCATION: Pennsylvania (Specific facility details provided upon credentialing).
REQUIREMENTS:
- CERTIFICATION: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible.
- LICENSURE: Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Cardiology.
- CREDENTIALS: Active DEA required.
