INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY | PENNSYLVANIA

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist for a high-impact locum assignment starting July 1. This role offers a streamlined workflow within a well-equipped hospital setting, supported by dedicated advanced practice providers to ensure efficient patient management.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

START DATE: July 1, 2026
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) plus weeknight beeper call.
WEEKEND/HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS: 24-hour call coverage including the July 4th holiday.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE: Inpatient hospital rounding and procedures. Weekend coverage includes Interventional and General Cardiology rounding.
SUPPORT STAFF: Nurse Practitioner assistance is provided for weekend and holiday rounding.
EMR: EPIC

CLINICAL DETAILS:

PATIENT POPULATION: Adult
PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS: STEMI coverage is required.
PROCEDURAL NOTES: No TEEs required.
CALL VOLUME: Average of 3 hours of callbacks per day on Saturday and Sunday.

FACILITY AND LOCATION:

PRACTICE SETTING: Hospital-based.
LOCATION: Pennsylvania (Specific facility details provided upon credentialing).

REQUIREMENTS:

CERTIFICATION: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible.
LICENSURE: Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Cardiology.
CREDENTIALS: Active DEA required.
