Mobile Echo/Vascular Sonographer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Mobile Echo/Vascular Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services at a variety of healthcare facilities. This role involves traveling to patient sites using a company-provided vehicle, performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, and transmitting images to a radiologist for interpretation. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and traveling throughout the assigned service area.

Schedule:

Full-time.
Mobile position with daily travel to multiple patient locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mobile Echo and Vascular ultrasound examinations using portable equipment.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and transmit them electronically for interpretation.
Verify physician orders and patient identity before every exam.
Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork daily.
Coordinate with dispatch regarding daily assignments and case availability.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.
Deliver compassionate, professional patient care while adhering to safety and infection control standards.
Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Registered with ARDMS or CCI in Vascular Ultrasound.
Experience in Echo and Vascular ultrasound.
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Active certifications and credentials must be maintained.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to transport portable ultrasound equipment weighing approximately 20 pounds.
Ability to move equipment over varying distances throughout healthcare facilities.
