IMMEDIATE NEED / URGENT BACKFILL
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
- Must be flexible to work at other nearby offices as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of current Medical Assistant experience required.
- Previous travel experience highly preferred.
- Previous Cardiology experience highly preferred.
- AAMA or equivalent certification required.
- Active AHA BLS required.
- Must work well as part of a team and remain flexible.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab testing, and other procedures within MA scope.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Obtain and document vital signs.
- Prepare examination rooms and keep rooms clean and stocked.
- Assist patients with rooming, preparation, and movement throughout the visit.
- Make and return patient phone calls as directed by the provider.
- Provide patient instructions as directed by the provider.
- Assist with medical records, referrals, lab slips, and other documentation.
- Requisition supplies and help maintain adequate inventory.
- Assist with nursing procedures as directed by the provider.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Remain calm and professional in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
- Active AHA BLS – documentation required.
- License verification required.
- AAMA or equivalent certification must be in hand and uploaded.

- Permanent address must be included with submission.
- RTO must be included at submission.
