Temp – Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a physician office setting. The CMA will assist with patient care, exams, procedures, documentation, and daily clinical operations while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-focused approach.
Seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a physician office setting. The CMA will assist with patient care, exams, procedures, documentation, and daily clinical operations while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab tests, and other MA-scope procedures.
- Obtain and document vital signs and assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare, room, and assist patients during exams and treatments.
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and order supplies as needed.
- Handle patient calls and provide physician-directed instructions.
- Assist with medical records, referrals, lab slips, and other documentation.
- Support nursing procedures and work collaboratively with the clinical team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current Medical Assistant experience – Required
- AAMA or equivalent MA certification – Required
- AHA BLS – Required
- Active license/certification verification required.
- Previous travel experience – Highly Preferred
- Cardiology experience – Highly Preferred
- Medical Assistant skills checklist – Required.
- 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year – Required.
- Permanent address and RTO must be included with submission.
- All licenses/certifications must be current at submission.
- Must be flexible, team-oriented, and able to work calmly in a clinical environment.
