Temp – Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a physician office setting. The CMA will assist with patient care, exams, procedures, documentation, and daily clinical operations while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab tests, and other MA-scope procedures.
Obtain and document vital signs and assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
Prepare, room, and assist patients during exams and treatments.
Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and order supplies as needed.
Handle patient calls and provide physician-directed instructions.
Assist with medical records, referrals, lab slips, and other documentation.
Support nursing procedures and work collaboratively with the clinical team.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of current Medical Assistant experience – Required
AAMA or equivalent MA certification – Required
AHA BLS – Required
Active license/certification verification required.
Previous travel experience – Highly Preferred
Cardiology experience – Highly Preferred
Medical Assistant skills checklist – Required.
1 supervisory signed reference from the past year – Required.
Permanent address and RTO must be included with submission.
All licenses/certifications must be current at submission.
Must be flexible, team-oriented, and able to work calmly in a clinical environment.
