CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) – LONG-TERM CARE
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate nursing and restorative care to residents in a long-term care setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide basic nursing and restorative care under the supervision of LPNs and RNs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, positioning, turning, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Support residents with feeding, hydration, toileting, and bowel and bladder care.
- Monitor residents and report significant changes or observations to licensed nursing staff.
- Follow individualized Resident Care Plans and facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain resident safety and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide compassionate, respectful care while supporting residents' physical and emotional needs.
- Float to other units as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of current CNA experience required.
- Must be willing to float.
- Active New Hampshire CNA license or Compact license required.
- Active license required at the time of submission.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- COVID vaccination series required.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Rural or small facility experience preferred.
